The interruption of this space by a line of non-being is balanced by the pooling of the removed material lying silently on the floor. The layers of building material, held together by layers of time, create a sinuous and somehow playful counterbalance to the stark reality of the void where it used to reside…almost as if it’s grateful to be free.
