That Florida Splendid China is actually in Kissimmee Florida and is said it has a bad management team which is why it went out of business. There where also protestors on having a communist government of China run the park under another name.
The park has been closed since 2000 and was purchased by a broker in 2005. Most of it has been auctioned off the rest has been vandalised and looks like the earth is reclaiming its terrietory.

The Splendid China in Florida appears to be a replica of one that still exists in Shenzen, China (just over the border from Hong Kong). The models were quite something, so it’s a shame to see the Florida version fall into disrepair like that.

There is an abandonded pool by my house about 2 miles ago, it has been abandonded since the 1980’s. Its gross…But this website is amazing, and I would like to see these places one day..Who would abandon that beautiful high school?
