Lovecraft

Ryan: We were running around in central park with a light covered plastic samurai sword to make this. People must have thought we were nuts. It makes for a great image though, I love the lines…I wanted to name this Lovecraft because he (writer H.P. Lovecraft) talks about the borders between worlds, and I think this is what those borders must look like…I was reading too much Lovecraft at the time.

Michelle: Ryan you sound so nerdy. But, yes, anyways, plastic swords and lights. Central Park is one of our favorite places to shoot because so many people will stop us and ask what we are doing and we love any chance to show and explain to people what we are creating. I also like this shot because you can see the city in the background…although bowed and distorted from the wide angle.
