Ryan: This was all Michelle. She does this thing while we are shooting where she will turn her camera on some part of the landscape around us, open the shutter for 30 seconds, get something unbelievable like this, and then go back to shooting like nothing happened.

Michelle: This was a fun little experiment. As Ryan said, I held the shutter open for 30 seconds for this shot and while holding it open, I zoomed in and out with my wide angle lens. The zooming is what made the lights from the buildings stretch into lines.
