While I enjoy art both as a visual and creative expression of man's soul, I, personally could not display or purchase the Suspension light and the Colgao table lamp. I know that art is sometimes to both warm and shock the viewer, however Suspension light and the Colgao table lamp are too extreme in their connections to death, whether in state sponsored executions, or lynch mob vigilantes. This would not be a lamp you would want displayed if Dr. Jessie Jackson were coming over for dinner. I can see the Gothic / Halloween connection, but it is just too....yech.... for my taste....
