		<description>Great article and although I had heard of most of these places, there were several new ones to me as well.  I found it really interesting to read about ruins under Lake Michigan.  I am convinced that there must have been advanced civilizations before the ice age, and that most traces have disappeared, eroded by the glaciers, and the tales virtually disappeared due to the many thousands of years that the ice age lasted.</description>

The son of a stone mason should have a very good idea of how to move large objects via leverage. And although it is generally conceded that very few ever saw him moving them, the few that did documented the experience very well with photographs.

No mystery to this one, just some well thought out techniques and huge amounts of patience.</description>
