Not surprising to me. Brazil has the largest population of Japanese outside of Japan - and a lot of them came over just before, during, and right after the war. But in practice they were fleeing the conflict, not trying to seed it here. Some cities in Brazil have a lot of Japanese influence. It is rare, but sometimes there are frictions between Korean descendants and Japanese descendants in Brazil because of WWII.

And Peru has had a nikkei president (Alberto Fujimori) - though that was decades and completely unrelated to WWII.

On another note: Strange to have a British poster in French.
