This hotel, designed by Amsterdam firm Tempohousing, may be the only existing shipping container hotel that can be described as luxurious. The rooms are large and well-appointed with quality fixtures and individual air conditioning. The basement and ground floor of the building were built in a traditional manner to add to the stability of the structure, but the remaining three stories of rooms are all made of shipping containers.
