An artist named Johnny Swing welds coins into beautifully reflective benches, sofas and chairs, including a piece called ‘All the King’s Men,’ which consists of thousands of half-dollar coins.

“Obsessions make my life worse and my work better,” reads this decorative street mural made of 250,000 Eurocents on Waagdragerhof Square in Amsterdam. The firm Sagmeister & Walsh sorted the coins into four different shades over 8 days using more than 100 volunteers to achieve this nuanced effect.
