Sin City? Green? Seriously? Yes, it’s true, the CityCenter project “boasts a square footage that is bigger than all current LEED certified buildings combined” – and with dazzling designs to boot. In part, this is surely a bid to gain attention for the city that ever seeks to stay in the spotlight. However, with its isolated location and limited natural resources it is in some ways no surprise, in the end, to discover one of the most sustainable projects in the world right in the heart of the world’s most infamous den of sin.
