Dunraven Secondary School in Stratham, London, needed a new sports facility – and fast. They decided to build one with cargo containers because of their flexibility, low cost, and speed of construction. It only took three days to erect three of the building’s four sides using shipping containers – the fourth side is a full-size polycarbonate window. Interesting viewing windows and balconies let athletes watch the action and let in plenty of natural light.
