I love the sphere tree house – some resorts even offer a stay in one of these. The downside to those were the lack of electricity and a bathroom – but this one looks like it has a microwave in one of the pics. Very interesting. The green roof of the California Academy could also serve two purposes: provide insulation to keep the building cool, and you could probably grow short-root plants on it. I like multi-taskers! These are awesome and inspiring designs.
