Simple doesn’t mean boring. Take the designs of Noon Studio, which, as design duo Gautier Pelegrin and Taïani Vincent explain, “celebrate simplicity while demonstrating a certain complexity of form.” Noon Studio creates minimalist, modern furniture and home accessories that are reduced to the most basic elements of a table, stool or lamp while remaining elegant and beautiful to look at. Some designs are flat-pack and others are multi-purpose.
Tripod Side Table
This simple and elegant little side table has a cantilevering tripod leg system and consists of just four parts: the ceramic tabletop and the wooden legs. It sets up and disassembles in seconds.
Steel Stool
An oak Y-frame supports a simple metal sheet to create either an individual stool, or a shelving system when stacked.
Compas Lamp
A few pieces of wood, a thin bulb and a few elastic pieces to put it all together are all it takes to create a leaning floor/wall light that can easily be moved and set to different heights.
