Pedro Campos uses oil and canvas to create stunningly photo-realistic still scenes, and bits and pieces of everyday life. To Campos, a bag of fresh produce is something much more alive and vibrant. He even manages to make the plastic bag seem larger than life. His canvases are large, often 4 feet wide, and in that respect they are definitely larger than life. Pedro Campos has a large gallery of his work on his site here.
