Word to travelers traversing the trails of San Ignacio, Belize: don’t get sick! Victoria of Principleintopractice, who snapped these shots in February of 2014, reports this public health clinic closed 7 or 8 years ago and “now sits in disrepair, slowly disintegrating”.
How is babby registered? Study it out, rural Belizeians, and Please Be Silent while you do! Should the concern of the day be cholera instead of kids, you’re out of luck as the clinic’s “cholera cot” gave up any hint of functionality long ago.
Special K-klinik
Flickr user Picksz visited this unnamed “K-klinik” clinic in The Netherlands on March 23rd of 2013, and no doubt he/she was as shocked as we/you by the wealth (literally) of equipment, medicines and other medical-type infrastructure left behind.
Ermagerd, blerd!! Meh, that’ll mop right up – clinic floors are tiled for a reason, amiright? Gotta find a haz-mat suit first; one like Carl Spackler wore in Caddyshack.
Roll Tape
This clinic somewhere in California has been abandoned for some time. How long, you ask? Well, a sign on the first floor landing indicates “TV & VCR Repair”… wait, what?? In any case, this closed clinic for people and their tech toys was snapped by Flickr user CaledoniaEHanson on April 5th of 2014. Guess the locals’ wonky VCRs are all flashing 12:00 now, huh?
